Scope and Content Note
Fact Sheets (FS) are prepared and distributed by the Oregon State University Extension Service.
These 1-2-page publications are written in a popular style for a general audience and address a variety of topics including agriculture, gardening, food preparation and preservation, and family life and finances. Several of the sheets have been reprinted and/or revised.
Form of Materials
Most of the Fact Sheets published from 1962 through 1966 (nos. 1-112) are available only in microfilm; several issues from this time period are also available in paper form. Fact Sheets published, reprinted, or revised in 1967 and later are only available in paper form.
Related Materials
The Extension Service (RG 111) and Extension and Experiment Station Communications (RG 69) Records contain information about the writing, editing, and publication of Extension Service publications. The Fact Sheets are also available in the Valley Library (call number S537 .O7 A55).
