634 Heart of the Valley, 1976; 5 reels (color internegative, sound track, and 3 prints) Produced by Jan Baross, a freelance filmmaker with funding from the OSU Bicentennial Committee in cooperation with the Journalism Department, Department of Information, and Horner Museum. Denny Miles (Assistant Director for Broadcast Media of the Dept. of Information) assisted Baross and provided much of the equipment. The 16 mm, 22-minute color film includes historical still photographs and interviews with descendents of pioneers and residents of Corvallis, Oregon at the turn of the century to document early days in the Willamette Valley.
