1. Review :
- Still need Salvage Priorities from Collections and Library Administration
- Karen has ordered the first aid kits (9) and she will distribute when they arrive. It was decided to use a numbering system in order to record maintenance.
- Bryan will purchase a radio for emergency purposes. It will be placed in the Access closet.
- Larry noted that the CMC core area doesn't have any emergency lighting during power outages. Karen will check on this.
2. Disaster Plan
The committee continued reviewing the disaster plan. The plan draft is close to completion which is projected for the end of May.
3. Action Items
- Lorraine will gather the rest of the salvage priorities for Collections and also floor plan locations
- Karen will gather salvage priorities from Library Adm
- Karen will number and distribute the first aid kits when they arrive
- Karen will check on the emergency lighting situation in the CMC area
- Karen will find the practice exercise from the disaster workshop she and Valery attended to give to the DRT
- Karen will complete the contact list unknowns
- Karen will check on funding for purchase of one plug-in flashlight for each building area
- Bryan will purchase a am/fm radio and place it in the Access closet
- Bryan will continue revising the web version of the plan as new information is added
- Bryan will contact security, OSU maintenance and ServiceMaster for the Supplies and Suppliers list
