1. Review :
- First aid kits have arrived. Karen will distribute.
- Plug-in emergency flashlights have been approved and Karen will purchase.
- Emergency radio has been purchased and placed in the Access Services closet.
2. Disaster Recovery Plan
- The committee reviewed the progress of the Disaster Recovery Plan
- Lorraine presented a draft of the plan announcement and asked for necessary revisions by May 21st
- Karen will continue seeking the Library Admin Priority list
- Penny and Larry have been working on the Local Services Contact List and will complete it by the next meeting.
3. Action Items
- Bryan will revise the web document as needed
- Bryan will ask for home phone numbers for the Disaster Team Contact List
- Bryan will complete the Supplies and Supplier List
- Bryan will obtain a copy of the Volunteer Form for placement in the disaster plan
- Karen will distribute the first aid kits
- Karen will purchase the emergency flashlights
- Karen will complete the Libr Admin Priority List
- Karen will check on CMC emergency lighting
- Karen will complete checking the unknown entries on the Local Services Contact List
- Lorraine will finalize the plan announcement to library personnel
- Lorraine will complete the collection salvage numbers (Unit 2, sec. IV, part C)
- Penny and Larry will complete the Local Services Contact List
A future agenda item will be training and local safety issues.
