1. Review :

• The Committee reviewed the previous minutes and action items

2. First Aid Kits

Bryan presented the committee with a few options for purchasing new first aid kits for the library. The options were Facilities (the most expensive) or ordering from the Boise catalog. Penny shared that her department had recently ordered first aid kits at a low price from Boise and provided information for these kits. Karen will check with Catherine on funding availability for 12 locations.

3. Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Plan

• The committee reviewed and revised Unit I of the disaster plan.
• The committee needs salvage priority lists from Library Admin, IS Admin, Webworks and Community Network. Karen and Bryan will make contact and try to have them provided by the next meeting.
• Lorraine shared insurance coverage information.
• Penny will check into purchasing a radio for emergency broadcasts
• Next review Unit 2

4. Action Items

• Karen will check with Catherine on funding for new first aid kits
• Karen will contact Library and IS Admin for salvage priority lists
• Bryan will contact Webworks and Community Network departments for salvage priority lists
• Penny will check into purchasing a radio for emergency broadcasts
• Committee will review Unit 2 for the next meeting in 2 weeks
• Bryan will revise the web version of the disaster plan
